How Hookup Walk Museum Mile
by Rachel Hochhauser on June 5, 2020Instead of visiting one museum on your date, how about you visit them all? This Tuesday, there's a once-in-a-year opportunity to stroll museum mile and get into all of the heavy-hitting galleries - think Guggenheim, Neue, Cooper Hewitt and six more - for free. As part of the annual Museum Mile Festival, these cultural institutions throw open their doors to the public, creating a one-evening chance to get your artistic fix.
Best of all, the festival shuts down Fifth Avenue, opening up 23 car-free blocks for the two of you to take a leisurely stroll. Plus, the whole operation is enhanced with further activities - you can hardly worry about a conversation starter when you're surrounded by live music, street art and general free-for-all celebration. Looks like you found your next date. Propose this as a date here.
