How Hookup... Have A Philharmonic Picnic Party
Imagine that you're on your date. You've planned a picnic. You've brought food - some wine, too - and you've spread a blanket out somewhere in Central Park. Imagine, if you will, that the New York Philharmonic is serenading the two of you, providing the soundtrack for your date. You're probably feeling pretty good about your chances.
Tonight, your imagination will be unnecessary, as the Philharmonic is coming to the Great Lawn for their annual free outdoor concert. Whether you know who Tchaikovsky is or not, the scenario is sure to inject a little magic into the evening. On July 13th and 14th, you've got a once-in-a-year opportunity to knock off your date's socks. If Central Park isn't your thing, the Concerts in the Park series also sponsors an event in Queens on the 15th and Brooklyn on the 16th. On a hot summer's night there's almost no better way to get to know someone.
