Have you ever been on a good old-fashioned gardening date? Us neither. In fact, it's a safe bet that gardening rarely ranks in the top-ten date activities, which is exactly why you should be taking a trip to the New York Botanical Garden. Thinking outside of the box is bringing you to the Bronx.
Your excursion couldn't come at a better time - The Edible Garden exhibition is calling NYBG home through October. With the focus on locally grown, seasonal food, and daily cooking demonstrations this is more than a walk in the park. Expect appearances from celebrity chefs - aka Batali - who will know how to put the party in garden party.
