Big news from the the Nicki/Britney tour. Apparently, when the tour hit Drake’s hometown of Toronto, Minaj brought him on stage for a lap dance during her infectious single, “Super Bass.”

Neither of them look all that comfortable, do they? Whether you’re on the giving or receiving end, I’ve got to think that giving a lap dance in front of a 20,000 people is a little more nerve-wracking than it is sexy.

This much is clear, though. Over the past few years, the lap dance has pole-vaulted out of the strip clubs and landed in mainstream pop culture. Celebrities who have given public lap dances recently include Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, and Minaj’s touring partner, Britney Spears.

So, now that a lap dance is about as culturally acceptable as a “how do you do?” (you can probably take a lap dance class at your local gym, for example) it begs the question: Would you ever give one? Have you? Under what circumstances? In public, or in the privacy of your own home? With a guy you know, or a total stranger? Is the whole thing playfully sexy, or totally degrading? Are lap dances really as common as they seem? Take our poll below.
