Poll Results: If You’re Sleeping Together, You Should Already Be Exclusive
by Scott Alden on August 18, 2020In a recent Date Report poll which asked “How Long Can You Date Someone Before You’re Exclusive,” 43% of respondents voted that if you’re having sex, you should already be exclusive. In other words, more of our readers agreed that it is action, not time, that decides exclusivity.
The runner up? 32.5% of you voted that, regardless of circumstances, six months is the maximum time that you can date casually date someone before you have to bite the bullet.
17% were apparently less comfortable with ambiguity, voting that one month is more than enough time to decide if a person is right for you — at least for right now.
Only 7% wanted to stay a free agent for as long as possible (maybe forever!) before committing to just one person.
