How Hookup... Listen to Music Under the Stars
Have you seen Washington Square lately? It's lookin' fine. Although half of it is still under construction, the other half is gorgeous, with lots of green and enough benches for everyone - like you and a date. Especially on Tuesdays.
For the rest of the July, Tuesdays mean free chamber music and jazz at 8 pm, thanks to the Washington Square Music Festival. Founded in 1953, the festival is just the right place to get into a New York state of mind. The performance is held in the northwest quadrant, in front of the Holley statue, but anywhere in the park will do. Sit back, relax and people watch - if you can take your eyes off of each other, that is.
Propose this as a date here.
