An awesome place I've visited:
Sicily -- I spent spring break there senior year of college, as part of a travel writing & photojournalism class.
What I would bring to show and tell:
My parents' dog, Cookie. (See photo above.)
A story you should remind me to tell you on our first date:
The time I volunteered to film a coworker's wedding. Here's a teaser: When I dropped (and dented) the camera before I even got to the wedding, and the camera still worked, I said "Well, at least that's the worst that could happen." Famous last words... (And yes, I've stuck to still photography since then.)
I secretly want to be:
the female version of David Rakoff.
An infatuation of mine:
I have a sizable bar coaster collection. It's almost as good as my grandma's swizzle stick collection. (And I'm slowly starting to work on my matchbook collection.)
If I won the lottery and quit my job, I would:
Invest in some serious photo equipment. Travel a bit. Buy a place in the West Village. Start a photography business and do more freelance writing. And hopefully stay involved in startups (I was the first hire at HowHookup), doing something involving content & social media.
